Navicat Premium Essentials (Multiple Databases GUI) V10.1.7

If you deal with a lot of different databases then I'm willing to bet that Navicat Premium Essentials 10.1.5 (Multiple Databases GUI) is going to come in handy for you. This software will work on any Windows system, from XP to 8, and it allows you to connect to a number of different databases, at the same time, through one program.

The installation of this software is straight to the point and quick. Now, the user interface does look a little basic, but the icons on top seem to direct you toward all the important features. For starters, you can connect to 5 different types of databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite, and SQL Server. And they even have a section off to the left to view all your different connections, if you plan on being connected to more than one database at once. Heck, you can even transfer data between different servers.

You can also set up and edit users, open and design tables, modify how you view the databases, design and execute functions, design and edit events, or open and design queries. You can even open an "object information" box for a lot more information about your databases. Plus you can view your history log, to keep up on all the changes you've made.

This software really seems like a one-stop shop, when it comes to databases. The only slight downside is that it's not a free program, but you can check it out for free, for a month. And hey, it's only $20 for this software, so if you need it for your business then that's not an amount you should bat an eye at. Just remember that this is the "light version" of the software, so if you want all the bells and whistles then you might want to opt for the premium version, which comes with a hefty price tag. But I think this would definitely help you fly through your database work a lot quicker, and it's at least worth taking for a free test drive. If you feel the need to scale up in the future, then you can opt for the premium version.
